Overview
By connecting your Bybit account to Fireblocks, you can:
- View your assets and balances in your Bybit main account, transfer assets to and from any available location, and track transaction statuses in the Fireblocks Console.
- Use your Fireblocks Transaction History as a unified auditing layer for all transactions.
- Use the Fireblocks API as a single API syntax for cross-exchange balance checks and transfers.
- Transfer funds between your Bybit account and Fireblocks vault accounts, whitelisted addresses, Fireblocks Network connections, and other integrated exchange accounts.
- Use the Fireblocks Transaction Authorization Policy to control how transactions are approved within your workspace.
Important
Bybit refers to the main account as the Funding account. To withdraw funds from the connected exchange sub-accounts, transfer them to the Funding account first.
Configuring your Bybit account
To configure your Bybit account to connect to Fireblocks:
- Refer to the Bybit.com API Documentation to learn how to generate an API key.
- Name your new API Key “Fireblocks” when prompted
- Enable the following permissions:
- Read-Write
- Only IPs with permissions granted are allowed to access the OpenAPI (optional)
-
Assets
- Account Transfer
- Subaccount Transfer
- Withdrawal
- Copy and securely save the API Key and API Secret. You will need them when adding this exchange to your workspace.
- If you enabled IP restriction above, enter the following Fireblocks IP address: 52.76.208.129. Bybit API Keys without IP whitelisting expire after 90 days.
Note
Configuring a Bybit Off Exchange account requires a separate process. After signing a Fireblocks Off Exchange agreement, Bybit sends an email containing your new Bybit UID. Use this UID to create a new API key and designate it the "Fireblocks Binding Key." This key is required to connect Bybit Off Exchange to your Fireblocks workspace. Learn more about Fireblocks Off Exchange.
Configuring Fireblocks
- In the Fireblocks Console, go to Accounts > Exchanges.
- Select + Connect Account.
- Select Bybit, select Main Account, and then complete the following fields:

The Admin Quorum must approve the new account to make it available for new transfers from your workspace.
