Early access: Trading orders (Liquidity Market) are available in Early Access mode to customers in specific jurisdictions. For more information, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM).
Overview
This article explains how to request offers from Liquidity Market providers, compare them, and execute a trading order in the Fireblocks Console.
Before you begin
- Make sure you have connected your accounts with the providers and that the right policy is in place.
- Add an Order Policy rule that allows trading orders.
See Getting started with trading orders.
Request offers
- In the Fireblocks Console, select + next to Transfer, and then select Trading.
- Select a trading pair under Quick selection, or select one from the Asset pairs list.
- Enter the Base amount.
- Select Request an offer.
The offers table lists every Liquidity Market provider with its Bid price, Spread, and Ask price. Providers you have not connected show a Connect link.
Review an offer
Select a provider in the offers table. The offer panel shows:
- Sell: the bid price, and the amount you receive for the base amount.
- Buy: the ask price, and the amount you pay for the base amount.
- Account: the connected account that executes the order.
- Available to trade: the amount available in that account.
- Settle time: when the trade is expected to settle.
- Execution type: Quote for a fixed rate, or Limit for an estimated rate.
See What is a trading order?
Offers refresh automatically while the panel is open.
Execute the order
- In the offer panel, select Sell or Buy.
- Select Execute. Your order is checked against your workspace policy rules. No approval on the Fireblocks mobile app or API Co-Signer is required.
The Trading order window opens and shows the order status, the amount you pay, the amount you receive, and the account that executes the order. The status changes from Processing to Completed when the provider executes the trade.
Select the Details tab to see the account, order ID, rate, total provider fees, date created, and the user who created the order.
Tracking your order
All trading orders appear under Transaction history > Orders, with the action Trading order. You can also select Show all orders in the Trading order window. See Order statuses for trading orders.
