Early access: Trading orders (Liquidity Market) are available in Early Access mode to customers in specific jurisdictions. For more information, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM).
Overview
Trading orders use account-based providers, which require a connected account before you can place orders. Complete the following setup steps before creating your first trading order.
Info: Your organization must complete onboarding and Know Your Business (KYB) verification, a compliance process, directly with the provider before connecting the account in Fireblocks.
Step 1: Obtain your provider credentials
Create credentials with the provider:
Step 2: Connect the account
- In the Fireblocks Console, go to Connected accounts.
- Select + Connect account.
- Select your provider from the list. Providers that support trading orders are labeled Trading.
- Enter the credentials from Step 1.
- Select Connect account.
The Admin Quorum must approve the new account before it is available for trading orders.
Step 3: Configure your policy rules
Trading orders require an Order Policy rule. A Transfer Policy rule is not required, because creating a trading order does not move funds from your vault. See Policy rules for trading orders.
Step 4: Review your balances and credit
After the account is approved, check the amount available to trade with the provider by selecting the new connected account you added. See Viewing balances and credit.
