Fireblocks has implemented a new Kiln validator that will be used when you stake SOL in the Fireblocks Console or Fireblocks API. This change does not require you to take action. You can continue staking as normal.
Note
If you have a Stake TAP rule with the existing SOL validator address as a whitelisted address or One-Time Address destination, you will be contacted by your Customer Success Manager to update your TAP rule to use the predefined destination that already supports the new validator address.
With the new validator, you will gain 93% of the Jito MEV SOL rewards. However, the third-party service fee for staking SOL with this validator will now be 7%. Any staking positions you initiated before this change will remain with the previous validator and use its 5% fee. Positions with the previous validator can be unstaked at any time.
