Issue description

You received the error message "Creating addresses for the provided asset is not supported" when calling the Create new asset deposit address endpoint.

Resolution

Only certain blockchains support multiple deposit addresses:

• Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV, Cardano, Dash, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Zcash (UTXO other addresses)
• Ripple (using Tags)
• EOS, Hedera, DigitalBits (using Memos)
• Stellar (using Memo_text)
• Algorand (using Notes)

If you still experience this error with supported blockchains and assets, submit a request to Fireblocks Support and include the following in your request:

• Timestamp of the failed attempt
• Workspace name
• API user name
