Overview

The primary connected account list displays the total balance of all assets for each account. The aggregated balance for each exchange is displayed above any exchange with main, trading, or sub-accounts connected.

Refreshing balances

Third-party services provide account balance data to Fireblocks. Balances shown in the Fireblocks Console are automatically refreshed after every transaction and about every four minutes, depending on the exchange's response. A refresh balance request is also triggered when browsing exchange accounts in the Fireblocks Console, but it may not be returned immediately.

• Selecting Refresh balance on the Connected accounts page refreshes all listed account balances, which relies on third-party responses. Refreshing when you are viewing a specific exchange account is faster and more efficient.
• Using the List connected exchange accounts endpoint to fetch the current balance data from the exchange relies on the data provided by and the response time of the exchange. These requests may take a few minutes to process and receive a response.

Exporting balances

Exchange accounts and their balances can be exported as a CSV file that contains connected account details (account type, account subtype, trading account) and asset balances.

How to export connected account balances

Go to Accounts > Connected accounts, and then select Export balances .
