Issue description
When you initiate a transaction using a dApp, Fireblocks uses the Gas Limit, Max priority fee, and Max fee field values to calculate the optimal network fee or gas fee required to perform the transaction. By default, Fireblocks presents this fee amount as an adjustable estimate that changes based on your specified priority (low, medium, or high).
However, there may be certain instances in which you want to use custom fee amounts instead of the default estimations.
Resolution
We recommend installing and using the Fireblocks Chrome Extension, which allows you to set custom fee amounts for dApp-initiated transactions.
After you initiate a transaction, you will receive a notification to sign it. On the notification:
- Select Edit.
- On the Edit priority dialog, select Advanced Options.
- Change the Gas Limit, Max priority fee, and Max fee fields to your custom amounts.
- Select Save, then sign and complete the transaction.
