Issue description
This error indicates that the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) code you entered is no longer valid. Each code in your 2FA authenticator app is only valid for 30 seconds.
Resolution
Try the following items to resolve the issue:
- Confirm you’re using the correct 2FA code from your authenticator app.
- Make sure you enter the 2FA code before it expires.
- Check to see if you have duplicate 2FA entries in your authenticator app.
- Verify the time synchronization on the mobile device you use for 2FA and the laptop you use to log in to the Fireblocks Console. Both devices must be synced exactly to the correct time. After syncing your devices, confirm the time matches in seconds on both devices and try your 2FA code again.
- On iOS mobile devices, select Settings > General > Date & Time > Automatically correct time.
- On Mac computers, select System Settings > General > Date & Time > Set time and date automatically.
- On Android mobile devices, select Settings > System > Date & time > Use network provided time.
- On Windows computers, select Settings > Time and Language > Set time automatically.
