Configuring your Coinbase Prime account
To configure your Coinbase Prime account to connect to Fireblocks:
- Refer to the Coinbase Prime API Documentation to learn how to generate an API key.
- When prompted to do so, name your new API Key “Fireblocks.”
- After you confirm the validity of your new API key, copy and keep a record of the following items, as you will need them when adding this exchange to your workspace:
- API Key
- Secret key
- Passphrase
- Portfolio ID*
- Under IP access restrictions, add the following IP address: 52.76.208.129.
Note:
The Portfolio ID can be found in the URL when you log into your Coinbase Prime Portfolio, as shown in the image below. This ID is separate from your Service Account ID, which is not needed to connect to Fireblocks.
Configuring Fireblocks
- In the Fireblocks Console, go to Accounts > Connected accounts.
- Select + Connect Account.
- Select Coinbase Prime, and then complete the following fields:
- Name on Fireblocks: Enter the name you want to give this exchange account on Fireblocks.

- Secret Key: Enter the Secret key that you saved from Coinbase Prime.
