Overview

Fireblocks supports thousands of assets across dozens of supported blockchain networks, observes trends in the blockchain world, and frequently adds global support for new assets. All supported assets have the same name and asset ID across all customer workspaces where they are available. 

• Globally supported assets are available by default when creating new asset wallets in any Fireblocks workspace.
• Locally supported assets only appear in Fireblocks workspaces that have been manually added or requested. They are available to transfer to any destination that supports them. You should always confirm that a counterparty supports an asset before transferring local assets to a Fireblocks P2P Network destination.

All other blockchains supported by Fireblocks only allow the storage and transfer of their base asset. Contact your Customer Success Manager to discuss adding support for new assets or blockchains.

Retrieving an asset list via the API

Use the Get supported assets endpoint to retrieve all assets available for use in your workspace, whether they are only available locally in your workspace or globally for all customers.
