The One-Time Address (OTA) feature allows you to transfer assets to non-whitelisted addresses in your Fireblocks workspace.
Unlike whitelisted addresses, each one-time address does not require approval by the Admin Quorum in order to transfer funds to it. However, allowing the feature requires approval from the workspace Owner or an authorized Approval group.
Warning
This feature poses security risks. Fireblocks recommends setting up a Policy before allowing one-time address transactions. You can use Policy rules to limit exposure, such as:
- Restricting one-time address transfers only to certain preselected users, user groups, and vaults
- Requiring approval for one-time address transfers above a certain threshold
Allowing One-Time Address transactions
- In your Fireblocks Console, go to Settings > General. Under One-time address transactions, select Allow.
- On the confirmation dialog, select Allow.
After the request is approved and the appropriate Policy rules are set, one-time address transactions will become available.
