Overview
The workspace Owner can delete users from the workspace directly from the Fireblocks Console. Deleting a user does not require mobile approval and the user's access will be instantly revoked.
Important
Before deleting a user, verify that the user is not required to reach the Admin Quorum threshold. If they are required to fulfill any Transaction Authorization Policy (TAP) rules, those rules will require modification.
Deleting a user
- In the Fireblocks Console, go to Settings > Users.
- Find the user you want to delete from the workspace, then select More Actions (...) > Delete User.
What happens when I delete a user?
Deleting a user instantly removes that user’s access to that workspace. Keep in mind:
- If the user has access to multiple workspaces, they are not affected.
- Fireblocks deletes the user’s cloud-based key shares.
- All user activity is preserved in transaction history and audit logs.
- The user ID remains in the user list with the status deleted.
- No other users are affected.
If you must revoke a user’s access to your workspace before editing your TAP, you can edit it after. However, any rules requiring the user’s participation will be blocked until modified and approved.
