The EOS community has deployed a new resource allocation model called the EOS PowerUp Model.
EOS PowerUp Model on Fireblocks
CPU & NET
With the EOS PowerUP Model, an account can pay a small network fee to power up the account with CPU and NET bandwidth for 24 hours that can be used to fulfill the account's transaction needs.
RAM
Each new EOS account on Fireblocks is created with a predefined amount of RAM payed for by Fireblocks. Every PowerUp uses some of this spare RAM. The RAM bought for the account may run out if an account is powered up several times. In this case, Fireblocks will PowerUp and automatically purchase additional RAM for the account.
Transaction Fees
On the Fireblocks platform, Fireblocks embeds the periodic PowerUp operation and RAM purchase in the transaction fee. When a user creates a new transaction, the displayed "Estimated Fee" is the maximum fee that is possible. In case extra RAM is needed, the "Estimated Fee" will be higher and will include the amount necessary to purchase more RAM.
