Overview
The address whitelist suspension property, also known as the address whitelist cool-off period, is an optional workspace security feature. It determines the length of time in which transactions cannot be sent to recently added whitelisted internal and external wallet addresses. In conjunction with the Admin Quorum's approval of the address, this helps to mitigate the risk of a rogue employee moving funds to a suspicious location.
The default length of time is 24 hours. Fireblocks Support can adjust the length of time to be lower or higher according to your organization's needs.
When you attempt to send a transaction to an address during its cool-off period, it fails and presents the following status and substatus:
- Status: Failed
- Substatus: ADDRESS_WHITELISTING_SUSPENDED

The workspace Owner must submit a request to Fireblocks Support to enable or disable this feature.
