Configuring your Gemini account
To configure your Gemini account to connect to Fireblocks:
- Refer to the Gemini.com API Documentation to learn how to generate an API key.
- When prompted to do so, name your new API Key “Fireblocks.”
- After you confirm the validity of your new API key, copy and keep a record of both the API Key and Secret Key. You will need them when adding this exchange to your workspace.
- Make sure you modify the following API Key Settings:
- Check Fund Management.
- Leave the remaining options blank.
- Whitelist the following Fireblocks IP addresses: 52.76.208.129, 40.117.39.60.
Configuring Fireblocks
- Go to Accounts > Exchanges.
- Select + Connect Account.
- Select Gemini, and then complete the following fields:

- Name on Fireblocks: Enter the name you want to give this exchange account on Fireblocks.
- API Key: Enter the API key that you saved from Gemini.
- Secret Key: Enter the Secret key that you saved from Gemini.
- Select Connect Account.
The Admin Quorum must approve the new account to make it available for new transfers from your workspace.
Your Gemini account appears on the Exchanges page along with all managed assets and their balances. Following Admin Quorum approval, transfers are available from your vault accounts, whitelisted addresses, Fireblocks Network connections, and other connected exchange accounts to your Gemini account.
Whitelisting Fireblocks addresses on Gemini
- In the Fireblocks Console, go to Accounts.
- Find and open the vault account that will receive withdrawals from Gemini.
- Find the asset in the vault account that you would like to whitelist.
- Select See Deposit Addresses from the row menu.
- Look for the Permanent address, and copy the address using the Copy address
button.
- Paste the deposit address and its asset type into a new email, and send it to institutional@gemini.com
