Configuring your Bitstamp account
To configure your Bitstamp account to connect to Fireblocks:
- Refer to the Bitstamp.net API Documentation to learn how to generate an API key.
- When prompted to do so, name your new API Key “Fireblocks.”
- Enter the following IP addresses under IP Address Filter to whitelist:

- 40.87.67.58
- 52.76.208.129
- Make sure you enable the following options:
- Withdrawals
- If you want to allow fiat transfers as described below, enable Open, cancel and view bank withdrawals.

Create crypto withdrawals
- Allow for all current and future available assets
- List withdrawal requests
- General permissions
- View account balances
- View your transactions
- Order management
- Enable all options.
- Withdrawals
- In case you want to enable fiat transfers between Bitstamp and conventional bank accounts, contact Fireblocks Support to activate this feature and then take the following steps:
- Confirm that Bank permissions are enabled.
- On the Bitstamp deposit page, locate the Bitstamp Account Number and Bitstamp Deposit Reference and copy them. You will need them when configuring this feature on your workspace.
- After you confirm the validity of your new API key, copy and keep a record of both the API Key and Secret Key. You will need them when adding this exchange to your workspace.
- Find the Client ID by navigating to My information under the user/account logo on the top right corner.
- Copy the Client ID. You will need it when adding this exchange to your workspace.
Configuring Fireblocks
- In the Fireblocks Console, go to Accounts > Connected accounts.
- Select + Exchange Account.
- Select Bitstamp and then complete the following fields:

- Name on Fireblocks: Enter the name you want to give this exchange account on Fireblocks.
- API Key: Enter the API key that you saved from Bitstamp.
- Secret key: Enter the Secret key that you saved from Bitstamp.
- Client ID: Enter the Client ID that you saved from Bitstamp.
- If you want to conduct fiat transfers between Bitstamp and a particular bank, fill out the following optional fields:
- Enter your Bank Client Name (this is the legal entity registered at the bank).
- Enter your Bank Client Address.
- Enter your Bank Client Postal Code.
- Enter your Bank Client City.
- Enter your Bank Client Country.
- Paste the Bitstamp Account Number you saved on Bitstamp.
- Paste the Bitstamp Deposit Reference you saved on Bitstamp.
- Select Connect Account.
The Admin Quorum must approve the new account to make it available for new transfers from your workspace.
Your Bitstamp account appears on the Exchanges page along with all managed assets and their balances. Following Admin Quorum approval, transfers are available from your vault accounts, whitelisted addresses, Fireblocks P2P Network connections, and other connected exchange accounts to your Bitstamp account.
