Configuring your Bitfinex account

To configure your Bitfinex account to connect to Fireblocks:

1. Refer to the Bitfinex.com API Documentation to learn how to generate a Bitfinex API key. 
2. Enable the following permissions:
   • Account info
   • Account history
   • Wallets
   • Withdrawals
   • IP Access restrictions
3. Name your new API Key “Fireblocks” when prompted.
4. Copy and securely save the API Key and Key Secret. You will need them when adding this exchange to your workspace.
5. Add this Fireblocks IP address to your Bitfinex API account IP Whitelist: 52.76.208.129.

Configuring Fireblocks

1. In the Fireblocks Console, go to Accounts > Exchanges.
2. Select + Connect Account.
3. Select Bitfinex, select Main Account, and then complete the following fields:

1. 1. Name on Fireblocks: Enter the name you want to give this exchange account on Fireblocks.
   2. API Key: Enter the API key that you saved from Bitfinex.
   3. API Key Secret: Enter the Secret key that you saved from Bitfinex.
   4. Email: Enter the same email account you used to register your Bitfinex account.
   5. Select Connect Account.

The admin quorum must approve the new account to make it available for new transfers from your workspace.

Your Bitfinex main account is displayed on the Exchanges page with all managed assets and their balances. Following admin quorum approval, transfers will be available to and from your Bitfinex account and vault accounts, whitelisted addresses, Fireblocks Network connections, and other connected exchange accounts.
