To rotate your Chainalysis API key, generate a new key in Chainalysis, then enter it in the Fireblocks Console.
When to rotate your key
Rotate your Chainalysis Know Your Transaction (KYT) API key when you want to replace it, when Chainalysis requires it, or when the user who generated it is removed from your Chainalysis account.
Before you start
• Your workspace uses the Chainalysis V2 integration.
• You are an Owner or have an Admin role.
Rotate your API key
- In Chainalysis, generate a new KYT API key. Make sure the user generating it has KYT API access enabled. Chainalysis shows the key only once, so copy it right away.
- In the Fireblocks Console, go to Policies > Compliance and open the AML page.
- Select Rotate API key, next to the settings icon.
- In the Rotate Chainalysis v2 API key dialog, enter the new key in the API key field, then select Rotate.
When the key is valid, the dialog closes and the new key is live. If the key is not valid, an error appears.
Important: Never share your API key in Slack, email, or a support ticket.
