You can use your Fireblocks Canton wallets with Canton applications, including the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) tokenization application and Tradeweb. This article explains the connection methods Fireblocks supports and when each one applies.
The right method depends on how the application provider integrates, and on how your validator is set up. For validator options, see Canton Validators and Bring Your Own Validator.
Wallet Gateway
The Wallet Gateway is a Digital Asset product. It builds Canton transactions and sends them to Fireblocks for signing through the Fireblocks raw signing API. Use it when you want Fireblocks to act only as the signer for your Canton transactions.
Raw signing is a premium feature that your Customer Success Manager enables for your workspace. Transfer Policy rules do not evaluate raw signing transactions. These transactions need their own Raw Policy rules. See Raw Signing.
Canton calls through the API
To act on Canton applications through the API, see Make a Canton call and Answer an offer in the Developer Docs.
