What the recovery covers
Recovery of Canton Coin is limited to the native coin and uses the same key-recovery protections as a workspace recovery.
Canton Coin only: The procedure restores Canton Coin balances by hosting your Canton parties on a new validator. It does not recover tokens such as USDCx. Token recovery needs additional steps from the token's registrar, for example Circle for USDCx.
Key material: The procedure reconstructs private key material with the Fireblocks Recovery Utility. The same security considerations apply as for a standard workspace recovery.
