Overview
Bakkt creates next-generation digital payments and financial infrastructure, and provides On/Off-ramp capabilities via Fireblocks. Connect your Bakkt account to your Fireblocks workspace to view available pairs and place On/Off-ramp orders. Supported fiat currencies include USD, EUR, GBP and NGN, alongside stablecoins.
Configuring your Bakkt account
Bakkt does not offer self-service API key generation. Contact Bakkt during onboarding to receive your API Key and Secret. Keep a record of your API Key. You will need it when adding this account to your workspace.
Bakkt whitelists all Fireblocks IP addresses on its end. You don't need to whitelist any Bakkt IP addresses for this connection.
Configuring Fireblocks
To connect Bakkt to your Fireblocks workspace:
- In the Fireblocks Console, go to Accounts > Connected accounts.
- Select + Connect Account.
- Select Bakkt, and then complete the following field:
- API Key and Secret: Enter the API Key and Secret that you received from Bakkt.
- Select Connect Account.
Your Admin Quorum must approve the new account before it can be used for new orders from your workspace.
Following Admin Quorum approval, your Bakkt account appears on the Connected accounts page, and you can view available rates and place on-ramp and off-ramp orders.
Supported assets & pairs
