Overview
Arc is an open Layer 1 blockchain built by Circle, designed as infrastructure for financial markets, real-time money movement, and stablecoin-based payments. Instead of a native gas token, network fees on Arc are paid in USDC. Arc launched its public mainnet with more than 100 institutional and ecosystem partners, including Fireblocks, and a founding validator set drawn from major financial institutions.
