Address Registry generates a PDF document confirming that a registered address belongs to your legal entity. Use it when a regulator, auditor, or counterparty requests written confirmation of address ownership instead of an on-chain proof.
Export the document
To export the document:
- Navigate to Policies > Address Registry.
- Look up the address.
- Select Download PDF as proof of ownership.
The document lists the address, the registry owner, the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI), jurisdiction of registration, Travel Rule providers, the query timestamp, an export ID, and a payload hash.
Verify an exported document
Two checks apply, and they confirm different things:
Online verification
Online verification confirms that Fireblocks issued the export. Submit the export ID to the verification endpoint. This check is available to Fireblocks customers for 12 months from the query date, and the document shows the expiration date.
Local verification
Local verification confirms that the document has not been altered since its export. Recompute the payload hash using the recipe printed on the document. A match proves the contents are unchanged, but it does not prove who issued the document.
Notes:
- When you share the document with a regulator or auditor, run online verification and share the result, or contact your Customer Success Manager to confirm it directly.
- The document confirms which legal entity registered the address in Address Registry, as of the query date. It is not an on-chain proof of control, and it is not a legal opinion on ownership.
