Overview

Rewards history and a breakdown of rewards by type can be exported from the Console’s staking page. The extended report provides a history of reward events and separates rewards by type: Inflation and MEV rewards. You can use this breakdown for accounting, auditing, and partner settlement purposes.

What's new

For each staked SOL position, we now expose:

• Events history: a chronological record of every reward event credited to your stake accounts, including the date, reward amount (SOL), and its current USD fiat value.
• Granular reward type breakdown: rewards are split into two distinct types so you can distinguish between them:
  • Inflation: the base protocol staking yields the Solana network distributed each epoch to your stake accounts.
  • MEV: additional rewards earned through the MEV (Maximum Extractable Value) tip distribution mechanism.

Exporting the SOL rewards report

To export the SOL rewards report:

1. In your Fireblocks Console, navigate to Staking, and select your Solana staking positions.
2. On the SOL staking page, select Export Rewards Report.
3. You can download the report from the Notifications on the console, or check your email for the link to download the report.

Reward types explained

Inflation rewards

Solana's base staking yield. Every epoch (~2–3 days), the Solana protocol distributes newly minted SOL to all active stake accounts, proportional to their stake weight. These rewards are credited directly to the stake account balance by the Solana protocol.

MEV rewards

Additional rewards from the Jito tip distribution program. When block builders using the Jito client process bundles, a portion of the MEV tips are distributed to stakers. These appear as separate events and are attributable to your stake account. MEV rewards are only earned on stake accounts delegated to validators running the Jito client.

Understanding the report

Each row in the downloaded report represents a single reward event. The fields are:

• Date: the date the reward was credited (UTC)
• Yield Type: the reward category: Inflation or MEV
• Generated Rewards (SOL): the amount of SOL earned in this event
• Locked (SOL): the staked/locked SOL balance at the time of the event
• Vote Account (Validator): the validator's vote account address associated with this reward. Present for inflation reward rows; not applicable for MEV rows
• Identifier (Wallet): the wallet address of the vault account associated with the stake account
• Identifier (Stake Account): the unique address of the stake account itself.
• Amount (in SOL): the amount of SOL credited to the stake account for this reward event
• Transaction id (for MEV only): the on-chain transaction identifier for MEV tip distributions. Left blank for inflation reward rows, since those are not tied to a single on-chain transaction

Notes and limitations

• The report is available for SOL staking positions managed through Fireblocks
• For MEV rows, the Vote Account (Validator) column may be blank, since MEV tip distribution is not linked to a single validator
