Overview

Moonbeam is fully migrating its GLMR token from the Moonbeam parachain (Polkadot) to a native ERC-20 token on Base. The Moonbeam/Base GLMR conversion rate is 1:1.

GLMR on Base is already globally listed on Fireblocks and available for deposits and withdrawals. Our end of support (deprecation) for GLMR on the Moonbeam parachain will be synchronized with the parachain wind-down, which is scheduled for July 31st, 2026.

This migration requires you to take action.

What do I have to do?

• If you hold GLMR on a centralized exchange: no action is required; this is handled by the exchange.
• If you hold GLMR in your Moonbeam vault: before bridging, withdraw any funds deployed in on-chain protocols on Moonbeam (liquidity positions, lending, staking, etc). Balances left in those protocols may become inaccessible once the chain winds down. Then, bridge your GLMR through Moonbeam's official migrator, which works with the Fireblocks DeFi extension from your Moonbeam vault:
