Overview
The native asset of the TON blockchain, previously named Toncoin, is rebranding to Gram. The blockchain itself continues to be named TON.
Fireblocks will update the asset display name to Gram and the symbol to GRAM, to reflect this change. The asset ID remains TON. No action is required on your end.
This change will take effect on June 15th, 12:00 PM UTC.
Important notes:
- The asset ID is not changing. All existing workflows, API integrations, and transaction policies that reference TON continue to work without modification.
- The updated name will appear in the Fireblocks Console once the rebrand takes effect on the TON network.
- Symbol mismatches may occur temporarily on connected CEXs during the transition period. Monitor your exchange integrations accordingly.
