- Transfer funds between provider account types
- Collateralize assets using Off-Exchange
- Trade crypto assets and stablecoins
- Convert between fiat currencies and stablecoins using on- and off-ramps
All provider network operations can be performed using the Fireblocks Console or API.
How you access provider services
You may access provider services using the Fireblocks Console or Fireblocks API.
After a provider account is connected, you can:
- Monitor balances across main and trading accounts
- Transfer funds between provider accounts, Fireblocks vault accounts, and other destinations
- Convert digital assets and fiat currencies using supported on- and off-ramps
- Track transaction status
- View and audit transaction history
Using the Off-Exchange solution, you can trade on provider platforms while retaining control of your funds within your Fireblocks vault.
Common use cases
The provider network supports a range of institutional financial workflows, including:
Crypto trading
Manage balances on trading platforms such as exchanges and OTC desks, securely hold assets, deposit and withdraw funds, and trade on both centralized and decentralized platforms.
Payments
Access global FX and fiat on and off-ramp providers to support payment flows and treasury operations.
Token distribution
Distribute digital assets such as stablecoins and tokenized securities to institutional and retail participants.
Core concepts
Providers
All interactions on the provider network involve a third-party provider.
Providers can include:
- Centralized exchanges and OTC desks
- Custodians
- Fiat on- and off-ramp providers
- Decentralized platforms such as decentralized exchanges, lending platforms, and bridging protocols
Providers integrate with Fireblocks to expose supported services and capabilities to Fireblocks customers.
Connected accounts
Most provider network operations are performed in the context of a connected account.
This applies primarily to centralized providers, where accounts are required for:
- Managing balances
- Using Off-Exchange
- Executing instant activities such as stablecoin FX, crypto-to-crypto trades, and on- and off-ramp orders, often for compliance purposes
On decentralized, permissionless platforms, accounts are not required. Users interact directly with the provider protocol.
Connecting a provider account typically involves authorizing access using provider-issued API credentials.
