Overview
A settlement ticket is the detailed view of a single settlement. It shows you the key details of the settlement, the individual transfers it consists of, and what action (if any) is needed to move it forward.
Viewing a settlement ticket
To open a settlement ticket:
- Go to Transaction History > Settlements.
- Select the row of the settlement you want to inspect.
The settlement ticket displays:
- The Settlement ID for reference.
- A list of incoming transfers (To Collateral) showing each asset, network, and amount.
- A list of outgoing transfers (To Exchange) showing each asset, network, and amount.
- The current status of the settlement and its underlying transactions.
Note:
Select any individual transfer in the ticket to jump directly to that transaction in Transaction History.
To return to the full settlements list, select Show all settlements at the bottom of the ticket.
Settlement statuses
Selecting a status badge anywhere in the console opens a dialog explaining what the status means and what to do next.
| Status | What it means |
| Initiated | The settlement has been created and the exchange flow is in progress. Fireblocks transactions have not yet been created. |
| Created | All requested Fireblocks transactions have been successfully created and assigned a transaction ID. |
Partially Created | Some, but not all requested transactions were successfully created in Fireblocks. |
| Settling | At least one created transaction is currently in progress. The Settle button is disabled while this status is active. |
| Completed | All requested transactions were created and completed successfully. This is the only terminal success state. |
| Partially Completed | The settlement finished, but not all transactions succeeded. This occurs when at least one transaction succeeded and at least one failed, or when not all transactions were originally created. |
| Failed | No transactions were created in Fireblocks, or all created transactions failed. Can also result from a cancelled settlement, an empty settlement, or internal errors. |
| Rejected | The exchange denied the settlement request. |
Note:
Completed is only reachable if every requested transaction was both created and succeeded. If any transaction was missing or failed, the settlement resolves as Partially Completed instead.
Status indicators outside the Settlements tab
Settlement status is surfaced in two other places in the console, so you do not have to navigate to the Settlements tab to check on active settlements:
- Connected Accounts view: Active settlements display a Settling badge on the relevant connection. Select the badge for a summary and a link to the settlement ticket.
- Exchange Account page: Active settlements display a Settling status on the relevant exchange account. Use the History button to navigate to the filtered Settlement History for that account.
