To configure your EDX Account and connect it to Fireblocks, perform the following steps.
Configuring your EDXM Global Account
To connect EDXM Global to Fireblocks:
- In your EDXM Global portal, create a new API application.
- Give it a name (e.g., Fireblocks Network Link).
- Select the MEMBER_APP_TREASURY_MANAGEMENT role.
- Submit the application.
- Copy the Client ID and Client Secret shown.
If your portal layout differs, follow EDXM Global’s documentation or contact their support for the equivalent steps.
Configuring Fireblocks
- In your Console, navigate to Accounts > Exchanges.
- Select + Connect account.
- Select appropriately:
- EDXM Global for Production.
- EDX Markets UAT for Testnet/UAT
- Provide a Display name.
- Paste the Client ID as the API Key.
- Paste the Client Secret as the Secret.
- Select Connect account.
The Admin Quorum must approve the new account to make it available for new transfers from your workspace. Your EDX account appears on the Exchanges page along with all managed assets and their balances. Following Admin Quorum approval, transfers are available from your vault accounts, whitelisted addresses, Fireblocks Network connections, and other connected exchange accounts to your EDX account.
Enabling Transfers (Deposits and Withdrawals)
In order to initiate deposits and withdrawals successfully, EDXM Global requires whitelisting of both destination (withdrawal) wallet addresses and inbound wallet addresses that will receive deposits. Steps on how to complete this are below:
- Submit EDXM Global SSI Wallet Whitelist Form to EDXM Global.
- Complete whitelisting and verification call with EDXM Global.
After these steps are complete, you can initiate transfers (deposits and withdrawals) from the Fireblocks console as needed.
