What is Fireblocks Gasless Relay?
Fireblocks Gasless Relay is a plug-and-play service that eliminates the operational burden of managing gas fees for your blockchain transactions. Instead of maintaining multiple gas wallets, monitoring balances, and constantly topping up accounts across different networks, Fireblocks handles all gas payments on your behalf through a managed relay service.
With Gasless Relay, you can send tokens and execute transactions without needing native blockchain tokens for gas fees. Fireblocks pays the gas upfront, and you receive a consolidated invoice at the end of each month.
How it works
- You configure the feature in your workspace settings (explained below)
- You initiate transactions from your workspace as usual
- Fireblocks pays the gas through our managed relay infrastructure
- Your transactions execute seamlessly across supported networks
- You receive a monthly invoice for actual gas costs plus any applicable subscription fee
Gasless Relay does not support auto-boosting for stuck transactions
The Fireblocks Gasless Relay does not automatically handle stuck transactions. If a transaction becomes stuck, you must manually boost it using the Replace-by-Fee (RBF) method.
Supported networks
Fireblocks Gasless Relay currently supports:
- All EVM-compatible blockchains, including Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, and more
- All tokens on these supported networks
Support for select non-EVM networks may be available
Support for select non-EVM networks (including specific USDC operations) may be available. Contact your Customer Success Manager for details on additional network capabilities.
How to connect to the Fireblocks Gasless Relay
- In the Fireblocks Console, go to Settings
> General > Gasless transactions.
- Toggle on EVM.
- On the EVM window, select Fireblocks as the relay type.
- Select Save.
- Submit a request to Fireblocks Support to get the Fireblocks Gasless Relay enabled in your workspace.
- Your Fireblocks CSM will follow up with you to determine which blockchains you need gasless support for, your estimated monthly transaction volume, and your specific use cases and requirements.
- After you sign the service agreement, Support will enable the Gasless Relay in your workspace, and you can start transacting.
