Overview

The Verified Assets feature helps you quickly identify trusted, official, and widely recognized tokens in your Fireblocks Console. Verified assets are marked with a blue chip badge, giving you confidence that you are transacting with the correct version of an asset.

What are Verified Assets?

Verified assets are those that come directly from their formal issuers or are native to their respective blockchains. These tokens are considered authoritative, reliable, and less prone to confusion or duplication.

Examples include:

• All native blockchain assets
  (e.g., BTC on the Bitcoin network, ETH on Ethereum)
• Stablecoins issued by their official providers
  (e.g., USDC by Circle, USDT by Tether)

Rationale

With many tokens sharing similar names or existing in wrapped and unofficial versions, it can be difficult to know which is authentic. The Verified Assets badge:

1. Reduces the risk of mistakes when selecting assets.
2. Improves confidence when transacting, staking, or managing assets.

Where you can expect to see it

The Verified Assets bluechip badge appears next to supported assets across the Fireblocks Console and Mobile app. When present, it confirms that the asset is a trusted version.

Example API response for a verified asset

The following example shows the response returned by the GET /v1/assets/{assetId} endpoint for a verified Bitcoin asset. This response structure includes the metadata.verified flag that indicates the asset is officially verified.
