Tags help you organize and manage your assets within the Fireblocks platform. By grouping related assets with custom labels, you can filter, locate, and work with specific sets of vault accounts.
Creating and managing Tags
To create a tag in a vault account:
- In your Console’s left panel, select Accounts, then select Vault.
- Hover over the relevant vault account, and under the Tags column, select the “+” sign.
- In the Tags modal, enter your new tag name, and select Create [name] tag.
- Select a color for your tag, enter an (optional) description, and select Create tag.
To edit or remove existing tags:
- In your Console, select the Settings icon.
- Select the Tags tab.
- Hover over the relevant tag entry, and select the pencil icon to edit the tag, or the trashcan icon to remove it.
Smart Filtering
Once you've tagged your vault accounts, use the applied filter option to quickly view specific groups of assets based on their tags.
Advanced tag management
Admins, Non-Signing Admins, or Owners can view and manage their tags via the Tags tab.
API First
Tags are fully supported on both the Fireblocks Console and API, giving you flexible options for integration into your existing workflows.
Notes:
- The API endpoints are in beta and may include breaking changes in future releases.
- Vault filtering by tags is currently only available in the console. API support will be added soon.
