Important
Solana Gasless cannot be used with Embedded Wallets.
Overview
Solana Gasless allows a vault address to send SPL Solana native tokens, whereas a different vault would pay for the transaction fee in SOL. This allows the sender vault to perform transactions without holding any SOL. Instead, another vault can sponsor the transaction’s required gas fee. This is valid across all Solana-based tokens, not including the SOL base token.
Solana Gasless leverages the Solana Fee Payer capabilities. A Fee Payer-sponsored transaction is signed by two vault accounts: the local relay and the token owner. A transaction can be sent only from vault accounts sharing a key set with the local relay vault account.
Configuring Solana Gasless transactions
To configure Solana Gasless fueling:
- Navigate to Settings
> General > Gasless transactions fueling and then select Configure.
- Select Solana.
- Select the local relay that will act as the Fee Payer.
- Select Save. The other vaults in the workspace will now have the option to send a gasless Solana token transaction where the local relay vault pays the gas.
