Issue

Google Pixel devices that have received a recent (March 2025) Android 15 security update are no longer able to perform actions that require biometric verification. This only affects users with the Fireblocks app installed on their phone's work profile and does not affect your assets. You will be prompted to change your settings to continue using your Fireblocks app as expected. 

This is a known issue that Google is currently addressing and will likely be patched in a future update.

Solution - deactivate "use one lock"

In order for the Fireblocks mobile app to access your MPC key material correctly, you must allow your personal and work profiles to use different locks. 

1. Open your Pixel's Settings app.
2. Select Security & privacy.
3. Select More security & privacy under Other settings.
4. Deactivate Use one lock.
5. Follow the prompts to create a new Work profile lock.
