Overview

Use a local gasless relay when:

• You have no restrictions against holding base assets (e.g., ETH or MATIC)
• You want to use a single Vault account to manage transaction fees for all other supported addresses in the same workspace

With a local gasless relay, you are responsible for managing the balance in the relay Vault account that funds transaction fees.

Configuring a local gasless relay

1. In the Fireblocks Console, go to Settings > General > Gasless transactions.
2. Toggle on EVM.

3. On the EVM window, select the Universal gasless option if it is visible. Otherwise, continue with the following steps.

   With Universal gasless option	Without Universal gasless option

4. For the Relay, select This workspace.

   
   

5. Use the drop-down menu to select the Vault account you want to act as the gasless relay.
6. Select how you want the gasless relay to be used:
   1. On by default: Gasless transactions are enabled when available, but may be disabled per transaction.
   2. Off by default: Gasless transactions are disabled, but may be enabled per transaction.
   3. Off: Gasless transactions are disabled.
7. When you're finished, select Save.
