Overview
Fireblocks supports ByBit sub-accounts via exchange connectivity. Connect the exchange, and rebalance securely between your exchange's main account and sub-accounts on Fireblocks.
Important
- If you already have a ByBit sub-account connected to this workspace, you must remove and then reconnect it.
- Changes in your Transaction Authorization Policy (TAP) might be required to support sub-account transfers.
Configuring your ByBit sub-accounts
To configure your ByBit sub-account to connect to Fireblocks:
- Refer to the ByBit.com API Documentation for instructions on how to create a sub-account.
- When prompted to do so, name your new API Key “Fireblocks.”
- Enter the following (optional) IP address or IP segment: 52.76.208.129.
- After you confirm the validity of your new API key, copy and keep a record of both the API Key and API Secret. You will need them when adding this exchange to your workspace.
Configuring Fireblocks
- In the Fireblocks Console, go to Accounts > Exchanges.
- Select + Connect Account.
- Select ByBit, select the Sub-account tab, and then follow these steps:
- Account Name: Enter the name you want to give this exchange sub-account in your workspace.
- Select the main account you want to connect to this sub-account. Remember, your main account must be connected to Fireblocks before you can connect a sub-account.
- API Key: Enter the unique sub-account API key that you saved from ByBit.
- API Secret: Enter the unique sub-account API secret that you saved from ByBit.
- UID: enter the unique User ID that you saved from ByBit.
- Select Connect Account.
The Admin Quorum must approve the new account to make it available for new transfers from your workspace.
Your ByBit sub-account appears on the Exchanges page along with all managed assets and their balances. Following Admin Quorum approval, transfers will be available between this sub-account and its ByBit main account.
