In Ripple, a Check transaction is conducted similarly to a bank’s check. When a third party pays you with a check, this transaction is divided into two parts:
- Receiving the check from the third party.
- Depositing the check into your bank account.
The same is true for a specific Ripple transaction known as a Ripple check operation. This transaction is divided into receiving the “check” (i.e. CheckCreate) and depositing it (i.e. CheckCash) into a wallet. Fireblocks does not support this type of transaction, so these transactions are not indicated within our platform. However, you can view these transactions using an XRP blockchain explorer. The check operation will be indicated as such.
Keep in mind that check operations are not complete transactions and may be voided at any time. Fireblocks only supports standard “Payment” Ripple transactions, which look like this:
