Once you've reconstructed your Derived Addresses Private Keys using the Fireblocks Vault Key Derivation Tool, you can import them into a third-party wallet. The exact wallet depends on the blockchain. For most EVM-compatible chains, the recommended wallet is MetaMask, and the procedure is identical except for the network parameters. Non-EVM chains use chain-specific wallets and have their own sections below.
MetaMask (EVM-compatible chains)
MetaMask is a cross-platform application for managing any Ethereum-compatible blockchain network. It supports importing private keys. Download MetaMask.
Import procedure
- Open MetaMask.
- Select the target network from the network menu. If it's not listed, select Add Network and enter the Network Name, New RPC URL, Chain ID, Currency Symbol, and Blockchain Explorer URL from the table below.
- Confirm the currently selected network is now set to the target network.
- Select Import Account from the avatar menu.
- Select Private Key as the type.
- Enter your Derived Addresses Private Key retrieved using the Fireblocks Vault Key Derivation Tool.
- Select Import.
For Ethereum (ETH/ERC-20), Holesky and Hoodi testnets, Ronin, Shimmer, and zkSync: These networks ship with MetaMask by default (or use the default Ethereum network), so you can skip the Add Network step and go directly to Import Account.

Electrum-family wallets (BTC and Bitcoin forks)
Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and Dash all use an Electrum-family wallet with the same shape of procedure: create a new wallet, choose to import addresses/private keys, paste your Derived Addresses Private Key, set a password.
Bitcoin (BTC) — Electrum
- Open Electrum. Create a new wallet.
- Select Standard wallet, then Use a master key.
- Enter your Derived Addresses Private Key. Select Next.
- Set a password to encrypt the wallet.
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) — Electron Cash
Electron Cash is based on Bitcoin Electrum. Available for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.
- Open Electron Cash. Create a new wallet.
- Select Import Bitcoin Cash addresses or private keys.
- Paste your Derived Addresses Private Key.
- Set a password.
Litecoin (LTC) — Electrum-LTC
Download Electrum-LTC. Supports base58 and Bech32 extended private keys.
- Open Electrum-LTC. Create a new wallet.
- Select Import Litecoin addresses or private keys.
- Paste your Derived Addresses Private Key.
- Set a password.
Dash (DASH) — Electrum Dash
Download Electrum Dash. Source on GitHub.
- Open Electrum Dash. Create a new wallet.
- Select Import Dash addresses or private keys.
- Paste your Derived Addresses Private Key.
- Set a password.
Cosmostation (Cosmos ecosystem)
Cosmostation is a multi-chain wallet supporting the Cosmos interchain, Ethereum, EVM L2s, and other ecosystems. Available as web, desktop, and Chrome extension. Download.
Import procedure
- Open Cosmostation.
- Select Import Wallet, then Restore with Private Key.
- Give an account name and enter your private key. The private digit string must have 66 characters, so prepend
0xif needed. - Select the chain for the imported wallet from the supported chains list.
- Set a password.
Supported chains
Select the corresponding chain when importing:
- Cosmos — ATOM (Cosmos Hub), Celestia, Initia, Provenance
- Osmosis — Osmosis
- Axelar — Axelar
- dYdX — dYdX
- Injective — Injective
- Noble — Noble
- Thorchain — Thorchain
Other wallets
Ripple (XRP) — Ripple-Wallet
A browser-based wallet using ripplelib and angularjs. Download Ripple-Wallet.
- Confirm Python 3.x is installed.
- Unzip the source to a folder and run
python3 -m http.serverinside it. - Open
http://localhost:8000in your browser. - Select Change at the top of the page.
- Select use secretkey and paste your Derived Addresses Private Key.
DogeCoin (DOGE) and Zcash (ZEC) — Guarda Wallet
Guarda supports multiple blockchains, including DOGE and ZEC, and accepts ECDSA extended private keys (xprv). Download Guarda.
- Open Guarda Wallet (web, browser extension, desktop, or mobile).
- Select Restore or Import wallet > Import By Currency.
- Select the target asset (Doge or Zcash).
- Paste your ECDSA extended private key (xprv).
- Add additional addresses if needed.
- Select Import and set a password.
EOS — SimplEOS
Download SimplEOS. Source on GitHub.
- Open SimplEOS.
- Select Import Existing Key.

Networks where external import is not supported
Canton
Canton is a permissioned, non-EVM network. Fireblocks does not support exporting/importing Canton private keys to third-party wallets. Use Fireblocks-managed nodes or customer-provided nodes (BYOV) to access Canton assets. For enterprise connectivity, contact your Customer Success Manager.
For Canton recovery scenarios, see Recover Canton Coin (CC).
Smart Energy Pay (SEP)
SEP is a standalone (non-EVM) blockchain. Fireblocks currently supports Custody and Transfers for SEP, but no third-party wallet has been validated for private-key import on this network.
- Manage SEP: use Fireblocks.
- Block explorers: https://secexplorer.io (mainnet), https://testnet.secexplorer.io (testnet).
