Overview

Fireblocks now supports Elliptic’s Holistic Screening for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) transaction screening. This updated version of Elliptic includes several changes and additions that can benefit your AML integration.

After enabling Elliptic Holistic, you can revert to your original Elliptic V1 settings if needed. The Elliptic V1 integration is currently still supported but will eventually be deprecated.

Differences between Elliptic V1 and Holistic Screening

With Holistic Screening, Elliptic conducts a screening across all blockchains rather than by asset type.

Enabling Elliptic Holistic

In the Fireblocks Console, Elliptic Holistic is listed as a separate AML provider from the original Elliptic integration. Complete the following steps to enable Elliptic Holistic.

1. Since the AML integration is a premium feature, work with your Sales representative to purchase the feature or to confirm your renewal of it.
2. Contact Fireblocks Support to enable Elliptic Holistic for your workspace.
3. Go to your Elliptic dashboard, and make sure your risk settings are configured appropriately.
4. In the Fireblocks Console, go to Settings > Compliance and connect the Elliptic Holistic provider using an existing or new API key and secret key.
5. If you have existing Elliptic policies, you can have Fireblocks Support apply them to the Holistic integration. You can also create new policies using the templates and upload them in the Fireblocks Console.
6. Once Fireblocks Support verifies your policies, the Elliptic Holistic integration is activated. If you had Elliptic V1 integrated with your workspace, your V1 policies will be deactivated. You can revert back to your Elliptic V1 integration by deactivating your Elliptic Holistic policies.
