Overview
Connecting a TKB (The Kingdom Bank) account allows you to send, receive, and manage EUR directly from your Fireblocks workspace. TKB accounts can only hold and transfer EUR and no other fiat currencies.
Before you begin
Make sure you have an active, dedicated TKB bank account issued by TKB before you continue the connection process. Then obtain your API keys from your TKB portal. If you have trouble requesting a dedicated bank account or need help obtaining your API keys, contact TKB support via email.
In order to connect your TKB account:
- You must be the account owner or administrator
- The API secret must be 2FA-protected
Adding a TKB account to your workspace
To add a TKB account to your workspace:
- Go to My Funds > Accounts > Fiat.
- Select + Fiat Account.
- On the Connect Fiat Account dialog, select The Kingdom Bank.
- Complete the following fields:
- Name on Fireblocks: Enter the name you want to give the TKB account in your workspace.
- API Key: Enter the API key you obtained from the TKB portal.
- API Secret: Enter the API secret you obtained from the TKB portal.
- Select Connect Account.
The Admin Quorum must approve the new account to make it available for new transfers in your workspace.
Transferring funds with TKB
After you connect your TKB account to your Fireblocks workspace, you can transfer TKB funds to exchanges that support SEPA payments. All transfers to and from your connected TKB accounts will appear in the Recent activity panel and your Transaction History.
Whitelisting TKB account addresses
TKB wallet IDs can be whitelisted like any other external address. Whitelisted addresses are useful for transferring funds to counterparties that are not connected via the Fireblocks Network.
To whitelist a new TKB account address, follow these instructions:
- Go to Whitelisted Addresses.
- Either create a new whitelisted wallet or select an existing wallet.
- Select +Whitelisted Address in the top right-hand corner. If the wallet is empty, select Add Address in the center of the page.
- Select EUR (IBAN).
- Enter the holder name, IBAN, and address details.
- Note: The country field requires an ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code, not a country name.
- Select Submit for Approval.
The Admin quorum must approve the new whitelisted address before transfers may be sent to it from your workspace.
