Overview

After you set up your P2P Network profile, you can connect to other members of the Fireblocks P2P Network. Adding a connection requires approval from your Admin Quorum, as well as your counterparty’s Admin Quorum.

Once approved, you can exchange crypto or fiat assets with that connection. To exchange fiat, both you and your connection must have corresponding fiat accounts with BCB BLINC linked to your workspaces. The P2P Network tab in the navigation panel shows all your connected counterparties.

Add a P2P Network connection

1. In the Fireblocks Console, go to P2P Network > Connections and then select Add connection.
2. On the Add a network connection dialog, select (or search for and select) the profile you want to connect with. Note that to add members who have made themselves not discoverable, you must ask them privately for their P2P Network ID and use it to find them.
3. On the next Add a network connection dialog, you can choose to use your profile's deposit routing account or select a different account for this connection.
   1. To use the profile's selected account, leave Use [profile name] profile routing toggled on. Note that the Crypto field below is read-only and automatically populated with the profile's selected account.
   2. To use a different account, toggle off Use [profile name] profile routing. Note that the Crypto field below becomes available, and you can select the account you want deposits from this connection to route to.
4. Select Add connection.

Pending connection requests

After a request is submitted, your workspace's Admins receive a notification on their Fireblocks mobile app that a new connection is pending approval. They can approve based on your workspace Admin Quorum settings. The requester’s Admin Quorum must approve before the receiving party is notified.

View pending connection requests

1. In the Fireblocks Console, go to P2P Network > Connection requests.
2. Select the Sent or Received tab to view pending connection requests.
3. Select Dismiss to remove a pending connection request.

Change a connection's deposit routing account

1. In the Fireblocks Console, go to P2P Network > Connections.
2. Find the profile containing the connection you want to update, then expand it using the down arrow on the left.
3. Find the connection you want to update, then select More actions > Change deposit routing.
4. If you want to switch the connection to use your profile's selected account, toggle on Use [your profile name] profile routing. Otherwise, use the Crypto field to select the new account you want to use.
5. Select Save.
