Issue description
It's possible you accidentally send assets to addresses on the wrong blockchain. Depending on the destination address, the funds could be sent to a network that Fireblocks supports or a network that Fireblocks does not support.
See the list of Fireblocks-supported networks.
Examples
- Supported network: You want to send ETH on the Ethereum network but accidentally send the funds to an address on the Arbitrum network.
- Unsupported network: You want to send USDC on the Ethereum network but accidentally send the funds to an address on the Cronos network.
Resolution
If you send assets to the wrong blockchain, you may be able to recover them yourself or have Fireblocks Support assist you in recovering the funds. The resolutions differ depending on whether you sent the funds to a supported network or an unsupported network.
Supported network
- For ERC-20 tokens, you can add an asset wallet to the relevant workspace and vault account.
- For all other tokens, contact Fireblocks Support to add token support in the relevant workspace. Then you can add an asset wallet to the appropriate vault account.
Unsupported network
- Make sure you have the following items configured in your workspace:
-
Submit a ticket to Fireblocks Support with the relevant information:
- assetID
- FB txID
- txHash
- Scanner link
- Fireblocks will assess and, if possible, devise options for retrieving the funds.
