It’s possible you will encounter issues during the staking process. Here are some reasons why a transaction may fail when staking, unstaking (if applicable), or withdrawing funds.
- Blockchain outage/error: The blockchain may have issues or an outage. Check the status of the blockchain for ongoing service disruptions. If there are none, resubmit your transaction.
- Blockchain error due to insufficient funds: The transaction may have been rejected due to insufficient funds for paying the staking transaction fees.
- For Solana, you must also have funds for paying the SOL account rent. Make sure to keep at least 0.01 SOL in the vault account with the SOL wallet used for delegating.
- Validator provisioning failure: The third-party staking provider was unable to set up a validator. Resubmit your transaction at a later time.
- Blocked by policy: If staking via the Fireblocks Console or the Fireblocks API, the transaction may have been blocked by a TAP rule. Review your transaction history and TAP staking rules. Then update your transaction or the TAP rules before resubmitting your transaction.
- Denied by approver: The transaction may have been denied by one of the approvers or the signer. Resolve the issue with the appropriate personnel, and resubmit your transaction.
- Other: For any other issues you encounter, contact Fireblocks Support.
