Most PoS blockchains require a specific minimum amount. Note that the minimum staking amounts do not include any associated transaction fees.
- Cardano: Minimum of 3 ADA (2 are a redeemable deposit; 1 is staked).
- Ethereum: Minimum of 32 ETH.
- Kusama: Minimum of 0.1 KSM.
- NEAR: No minimum for delegators.
- Polkadot: As of January 2023, a minimum of 100 DOT is required to begin staking. You can check Polkadot's documentation for the current nominator minimum.
- Polygon MATIC and POL: No minimum.
- Solana: Minimum of 1.1 SOL (as of May 2026; was previously 0.01 SOL).
- Kraken: Minimum of 0.01 SOL.
- Tezos: No minimum for delegators.
- Cosmos: Minimum of 1 ATOM.
- Osmosis: Minimum of 1 OSMO.
- Axelar: Minimum of 1 AXL.
- Injective: Minimum of 1 INJ.
- Celestia: Minimum of 1 TIA.
- dYdX: Minimum of 1 dYdX.
