Overview

In order to view the ticket’s current status, select the ticket from the Active tickets area or Ticket history section, and enter the Ticket page. This page provides you with various details about the ticket, as illustrated in the below screenshot:

Ticket statuses

Once a ticket is created, it has several possible statuses:

Pending funding / Pending connection funding

• Once the ticket is created, before anyone funds it:
  • In the case of a one-way ticket, its default status is Pending connection funding.
  • In the case of a two-way ticket, its default status is Pending funding.

• If one of the parties funds the ticket successfully, the status visible for them switches to Pending connection funding, while for the other party, it still remains in Pending Funding (in the one-way use case, the status for the funding party will be Pending connection funding).
• If you are funding your ticket with multiple assets, note that all the assets must first be sent for the ticket to be successfully funded. 

Completed

If the ticket is successfully funded by both parties (or by the funding party in the case of a one-way ticket), its status switches to Completed.

Expired

If no party funds the ticket, and it reaches its expiration pre-set time, the ticket’s status switches to Expired.

Rejected

If none of the parties funds their own leg of the ticket, and either of them rejects or cancels the transaction, the ticket’s status is switched to Rejected.

Notes:

• Once either party initiates their funding transaction, the ticket cannot expire until that transaction reaches its final state. If the transaction fails, and the expiry time is reached, the ticket expires. However, if either of the parties funded the ticket successfully, the ticket cannot expire. 
• If the funding transaction fails without having reached the expiry time, the funding party may make an additional attempt to fund the ticket.
• In the event of unforeseen business circumstances leading to the termination of the parties’ collaboration, the funding party, having been specially prompted to do so, still has the option to cancel the ticket even after having funded their own leg.
