Overview
You can open smart transfer tickets via the Console and API. Tickets can be one-way or two-way requests. To open a smart transfer ticket as an intermediary for other parties, you must use the API.
Creating Smart Transfer tickets
The Smart Transfers window is dynamic and allows different options depending on your selections. To open a Smart Transfer ticket:
- In the Active tickets area, select + Create ticket.
- Under Participants, select an Initiator Network profile where funds will be deposited, and the Counterparty profile to transact with.
- To create a one-way ticket, select
Remove asset under the Send funding section
- To create a two-way ticket, select the Asset and Amount for both Send and Receive funding sections.
- If you want to add more than one asset, select Add another asset and select the asset type and amount. This option only becomes available once the previous asset and amount are entered.
- Under the Expiration section, you can select an expiration time for the ticket, in hours. By default, the ticket never expires, and remains active unless it is funded or cancelled.
- Under Note to connection, you may optionally enter text to inform your connection about any details relating to this transaction.
- Select External reference ID to enter your internal system's ID for this transaction.
- Select Review ticket to see a summary of the entire ticket, prior to submission.
- Select Send ticket to create the ticket and notify both parties.
