Overview
Since you can't delete asset wallets, archiving them is one of the methods you can use to manage your Vault. We recommend using this method when your workspace has less than 100 vault accounts that are accessed primarily via the Fireblocks Console.
Important
- Archived asset wallets can always receive incoming transactions, and receiving an incoming transaction will automatically unarchive the wallet.
- You cannot select an archived asset wallet as a transaction's source or destination in the Fireblocks Console. However, they are always available via the Fireblocks API.
- Archived asset wallets are not included in your Vault's balance chart.
- Transactions using archived asset wallets still appear in your Transaction History.
Archiving an asset wallet
- Go to Accounts > Vault.
- Find and open the vault account that contains the asset wallet you want to archive.
- Find the asset wallet you want to archive, then select More Actions (...) > Archive Account.
- Select Archive.
Unarchiving an asset wallet
- Go to Accounts > Vault.
- Find and open the vault account that contains the asset wallet you want to unarchive.
- Select View Archived to see the vault account's archived asset wallets.
- Find and select the appropriate asset wallet, then select Unarchive.
