Owners, Admins, and Non-Signing Admins can add non-signing users to a Cold Wallet workspace directly from the Fireblocks Console. Adding signing users requires a support request.

Adding non-signing users
Owners, Admins, and Non-Signing Admins (NSAs) can add non-signing users to a Cold Wallet workspace directly from the Console, without opening a support ticket. Once your approval settings are configured correctly, the Add user button is enabled automatically.
Configure user management approval
To enable self-service user management, you need to remove the workspace Owner from the Manage users approval group and assign it to a group consisting only of NSAs.
- In the Console, go to Settings > Quorums.
- Under Approval groups, select User management.
- On the Manage users row, select Edit.
- Deselect Requires workspace owner approval.
- Select Requires approval of a specific group, choose a group consisting only of NSAs, and set the approval threshold.
- Select Save.
Once both conditions are met, the Add user button on the Users page is enabled automatically. If either condition is not met, the button remains disabled. Hover over it to see a tooltip explaining what still needs to be configured.
Add a user
Assign user roles according to the principle of least privilege. Give each user only the permissions they need to do their job.
- In the Console, go to Settings > Users, then select Add user.
- In the Add user modal, enter the new user's name and email address, then select a user role.
- Select Add user.
Approval process
After a user is added, the NSA approval group receives a request to approve the new user on their mobile devices. The approval threshold must be met within 7 days (168 hours), or the request expires and the user is not added.
After approval
Once the NSA group approves the new user, the user can complete the initial user setup process.
Adding signing users
Adding signing users to a Cold Wallet workspace requires assistance from the Fireblocks Customer Operations team to help ensure the offline integrity of your workspace.
Use this form to request adding a new Cold Wallet signer. Add the workspace Owner in CC to approve the request.
